Methodology & Scope
- Each row's "Official Input/Output" figures are sourced directly from the provider's public pricing documentation page (linked in the Source column).
- CheapAI model names are marketing labels. Where a direct official model ID is publicly documented, it is shown below the marketing name. Where no verified mapping exists, this is clearly marked "Unverified".
- DeepSeek input pricing is split by cache-hit ($0.028/1M) vs cache-miss ($0.28/1M) since this is how DeepSeek bills on platform.deepseek.com.
- Gemini models listed here are the currently active preview-tier models as of March 2026 (
gemini-3.1-pro-preview,gemini-3.1-flash-lite-preview). As preview models, pricing and availability may change before stable release. - GPT-5.x model IDs are CheapAI's internal routing labels. No corresponding publicly documented model IDs were found on openai.com/api/pricing as of the checked date. Official pricing is not claimed for these rows.
